ELEKTRUS EREKTUS: LÄHIÖ 4-TRACK

 

 

Elektrus Erektus’s “Lähiö 4-Track” will be released digitally through Skithund Records on June 6, 2019. Elektrus Erektus is a middle-aged dad, out of whom hatches an ill-advised lizard king of suburban discos in the darkest hours of the night.

 

Lähiö 4-Track consists of the preliminary 4-track recordings of the “Lähiö” album released in 2018; they turned out to be so succulent that a separate publication was deemed appropriate. Recorded during the heat of summer copulation season, they tell the tale of urban love and the frustrations of said love. The soundscape of the recordings is darkly erotic and suitably dirty. The album is available from Apple Music/iTunes and other online stores as of June 6th. It comes simultaneously to streaming services worldwide. Distribution is provided by Playground Music Finland.
